Keiko Mitani has a doctoral degree (PhD) in Slavonic Philology at the University of Tokyo. She is professor at the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology. Her main fields of interest are Slavonic philology, comparative and historical Slavic linguistics, Old Church Slavonic and South Slavonic recensions of Church Slavonic.
