Prof. Vasya Velinova is a specialist in the field of Slavic medieval literature (original and translated from Greek), medieval rhetoric and Cyrillic paleography and codicology. She is the author of a number of studies on the literary process in the cultural space of Slavia Orthodoxa, as well as translations of medieval texts. She is also the author of catalogues of Slavic manuscripts.
